After nearly three months of work, they managed to solve the problem and the Comet Surfer was once again en route to Saturn. It was the perfect moment for a press conference, and Gaby materialized in the ship’s virtual-reality cabin. She wore a black cocktail dress with a plunging neckline, accented by a daring zipper that ran from the neckline to the hem. The fabric clung to her curves, creating a striking yet refined silhouette. The long cocktail hem added a contemporary style, letting her show her legs while maintaining an air of sophistication.

Joining her for the discussion were Biyu—the brilliant mind behind the modular VHTRs—and Valery, as the ship’s captain. Both wore white biosuits, Valery’s with green accents and Biyu’s with blue.

Valery, in open competition, had unzipped her suit to reveal her cleavage as well. The zipper served as a focal point, drawing attention to her neckline. Its metallic sheen caught the light, casting subtle highlights that enhanced the outfit’s overall allure. Biyu smiled to see the two women competing over the curvature of their breasts.

Gaby began by addressing Biyu and acknowledging her key role in the VHTR design.

“Biyu, your expertise in modular VHTR technology has been pivotal in the recent efforts. Can you walk us through the process of bringing the AMIA engines back online?”

Biyu nodded with a look of both pride and determination. “Of course, Gaby. Our course of action involved unpacking one of the reactors from the hold and installing it next to the aft LFTR reactor. This task wasn’t easy, as it required meticulous planning and coordination.”

Valery cut in, her voice firm and authoritative, drawing the gaze toward herself.

“Indeed, the effort required dismantling a section of the spacecraft’s structure and strategically reorganizing all our cargo. We had to make sure each reactor component was relocated to its intended destination with precision.”

Gaby listened intently, absorbing the details of their efforts. “And once the new reactor was successfully installed, what did you do?”

Biyu’s eyes gleamed with satisfaction. “Once installed, we disconnected the power cables from the LFTR reactor, making sure all connections were isolated and our protection systems were fully operational.”

Valery nodded. “With great anticipation, we started up the new reactor and, to our relief, the AMIAs came to life. The Surfer was back under our command, and we can resume our journey to Titan.”

“Valery, however, I understand that shutting down the engines means you have to perform additional maneuvers to rendezvous with the Saturn system. Could you explain that a bit?”

“Indeed, Gaby—we now have to perform what is known as a bi-elliptic transfer. At the moment we are on an elliptical orbit and must send the spacecraft to another elliptical orbit. From the current orbit we will carry out an initial acceleration to push the ship to the transfer orbit, where a deceleration will inject the Comet Surfer into Saturn orbit.”

Gaby nodded, impressed by their resilience and ingenuity. “What you mean is that you’ll accelerate and swing the ship to catch Saturn and then brake to orbit the planet.
